Have a look at this disgraceful video where teachers are shown "tactics" to placate parents. The whole video is based on the idea that teachers "are not a service" to parents, and that teachers by default know better than parents. According to this guidance teachers are not only allowed (which would be bad enough), but it is their duty (!) to go against their parents, "bringing in the wider school community" if necessary to "to show a united front" and impose what "is better for their child". As said, utterly disgraceful. This is the training YOUR children's teachers get. When are we going to stand up against this abuse? Our children's whole lives are at stake if these teachers get their way and are allowed to classify and discriminate against your daughters and sons by setting targets and denying them access to the full curriculum, to the full range of marks?
